The main thrust of PSIN will be to foster knowledge and best practices in Process Safety in the Oil & Gas and Process Industries in Nigeria, leveraging on the experience and success of CCPS. In this regard, the key objectives shall be:

Create strong awareness of Process Safety in the Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Sectors.
Best Practices
Engender sharing of best practices amongst all players in the sectors.
Data & Knowledge
Collect, analyse, disseminate and share Process Safety data amongst industry stakeholders.
Capacity Building
Enhance competencies of industry practitioners in Process Safety on a continuing basis.
Academic Integration
Spearhead inclusion of Process Safety in curricula and equip lecturers with skills to train students.
Global Collaboration
Provide a collaborative platform that aligns with and engages the global Process Safety community.
Advocacy
Drive advocacy for robust Process Safety culture across industries.
Policy Influence
Influence policy formulation, standards, and regulations in Process Safety management.
